Tyres Slashed!
Residents fuming as vandals target over a hundred cars in Swindon town centre
This was the scene in Dixon Street this morning after residents woke up to find the tyres slashed on over 120 cars.
The vandalism took place overnight with vehicles in nearby Stafford Street, Ragget Street & Prospect Street also targeted.
Some cars had all four tyres punctured, with angry owners fuming at the 'senseless' nature of the attack.
Further afield, tyres have also been reported as being slashed at the Marriott Hotel in Old Town & Marlborough Road.
Week of attacks
In a bad week for car owners, vehicles were also 'keyed' in Pembroke Street on Monday night.
Swindon Police are asking anyone with information on the crimes to call them on 101 or contact Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
